Rejects duplicate references for pending India card mandates
Rejects duplicate references associated with an India recurring card mandate that’s pending when creating a Payment Intent or Setup Intent. Previously, validation only rejected references associated with an active mandate. Requests that reuse a reference associated with a pending mandate now return a resource_already_exists error during intent creation or confirmation. Previously, these requests could succeed while the previous mandate was pending.

- Use a unique reference for each distinct India recurring card mandate. If you reuse a reference from a pending mandate, your request now returns resource_already_exists. See the India recurring payments guide for more information.
